Hawzah News Agency- Hujjat al-Islam Ali Abbasi, President of Al-Mustafa International University, welcomed the guests of Sheikh Tusi Scientific Conference and congratulated them on the Shaban month, and noted,” The Islamic Revolution, which celebrates its 45th anniversary, belongs to all freedom seekers and truth seekers in the world, and as religion of Islam, it is a mercy for all humanity.”

Hujjat al-Islam Abbasi said that the purpose of holding scientific research festivals is to identify researchers and appreciate their scientific efforts and stated,” Identifying and developing the scientific and research capacities of Al-Mustafa researchers, professors and scholars is one of the important goals of Sheikh Tusi Festival. Also, every year a special topic is chosen for the conference which deals with one of the current issues.”

He continued,” Al-Mustafa and Sheikh Tusi Festival should pursue a higher goal than other scientific festivals and events. Al-Mustafa, as a scientific center arising from the thought and discourse of the Islamic Revolution, is today the standard-bearer of a new way of thinking in the world. The world today is at a special stage and the material civilization that has ruled the world for several centuries is trying hard to maintain its cultural domination over the world.”

At the end, Hujjat al-Islam Abbasi emphasized the need for vigilance and recognition of priorities in scientific and research activities, and acknowledged,” the characteristic of martyr Motahari, which distinguished him from other scholars, was his sense of responsibility and recognition of important issues in society; Our scientific work must be in accordance with the needs and issues of the day in order to solve a civilizational problem.
